The PPG Technician Certification Training Program is a key part of PPG’s commitment to keep painters informed and their skills operating at a high level. Therefore, re-certification of the technician is required every two years. It assures that technicians will stay up-to-date with the latest products and process techniques for maximizing the paint operation productivity and quality. Moreover, technician recertification is required every two years as a qualification for participating in the PPG Lifetime Limited Paint Performance Guarantee program.
To help collision center technicians achieve the best color match with Envirobase® High Performance products, PPG offers additional training support. Our color-matching class covers the theory of color and its practical application in matching and tinting. In addition, paint technicians will receive in-depth knowledge of the Envirobase® High Performance waterborne color system and associated color tools, as well as hands-on exercises to practice what you’ve learned.
